I express my feelings through pictures.
I developed an appreciation for beautiful images inspired by stunning light and rugged landscapes growing up in Africa. After 40 years of photographing fashion, portraits, travel and still life’s, as well as directing and lighting television commercials, my artistic mark has been shaped by the discipline of print which has brought a distinctive simplicity to my work.
My work has been recognised at Cannes, One Show, D&AD, Clios, London International Advertising Show, New York Art Directors Show, and Communication Arts Advertising Annual.
Throughout my career as a director I continued shooting stills, showcasing my work in many magazines, advertising annuals, award show, exhibitions and National Geographic.
I have sponsored 8 fund raisers, auctioning my photographs to raise money for the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund, UNICEF, Doctors without Borders, POV, Watercan and Mother Nature for the Jane Goodall Institute.
All my photographs are printed onto Museum Archival Photographic Paper with Archival Pigment ink, also known as Giclee. The mattes are also acid free.
